The Education Foundation adopts special initiatives depending on school district needs and priorities.
Monies donated to this fund have been used for projects such as the Harvey Relief Fund, which supported Spring ISD families and employees as they recovered from the aftermath of the storm.
Other initiatives may be selected by the Education Foundation as appropriate. The goal is always to support and promote the mission of the school district, which is to create students who are lifelong learners, critical thinkers and responsible citizens ready to contribute, compete and lead in today’s global society.
By contributing to the Special Initiatives fund, your dollars will be used where they can have the most impact in improving the overall quality of Spring ISD.
The Foundation, established in 1993 to benefit the students and teachers of the District, is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is a collaborative effort that includes local business, community, and educational leaders.
