The Spring ISD Education Foundation is dedicated to the support of the Spring Independent School District and its mission of preparing students for success in college, career and life by providing a strong educational foundation.
Established in 1992, the Spring ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors that includes local business, industry, education and community leaders.
The foundation works with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Rodney E. Watson and business and community leaders throughout the greater Houston area to raise funds for the district, provide support for teachers and students, and to promote the district’s mission of providing every student with a quality education.
The foundation directly supports districtwide and school-based programs and initiatives aimed at improving literacy, closing the minority achievement gap, enhancing teacher quality and enriching the experience of students and educators.
This work is aligned with the district’s Strategic Plan, Every Child 2020 and its five key imperatives:

First generation college student and Asian-American in my family
“I am honored to have been one of the recipients for the Wells Fargo Athlete Scholarship. As a first generation college student and Asian-American in my family, we are forever thankful for your generous support. As a result of your help, I was able to focus more on school and less on, "Can I afford a college education?"

Help them get back on their feet
“The Spring ISD Education Foundation not only gives teacher/school grants, they also support the students of Spring ISD by awarding scholarships. In 2017 they stepped up to help Hurricane Harvey families with money to help them get back on their feet.”

Will not forget to pay it forward.
“Thank you very much for being an influential part of my future by supporting me financially. As I pursue my goals and dreams, I will most certainly not take this opportunity for granted and will not forget to pay it forward.”

“For more than 20 years, we have been proud to support the work of the Spring ISD Education Foundation. The best part of giving to the Foundation is knowing your support will provide an opportunity for students in the community to further their education, including those who would otherwise not be able to afford it.”
