Educator Grants Fund Innovative Programs or Initiatives to Benefit Spring ISD Students
Donations to the Spring ISD Education Foundation are used to fund innovative programs or initiatives proposed by Spring ISD teachers, campuses or departments that enrich the educational experience for Spring ISD students.
The goal is to fund those items for which other sources of revenue are not available.
Please note the application process for these grants opens the fall of each year with a deadline prior to December. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
The foundation’s Grant Application Review Committee looks for proposals that will help the district advance its educational mission. Those interested in submitting a grant proposal are urged to review the Education Foundation’s Selection Criteria (below) and the District’s criteria as stated in the Strategic Plan and the Vision, Mission and Core Values found on the Spring ISD home page.
Periodically, the Spring ISD Education Foundation will hold grant writing workshops to review best practices. Some of that information can be found here.
Please be aware that grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded to individual Teacher initiated programs or projects. Grants of up to $2,000 will be awarded to Campus Team and Department initiated programs or projects. Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to Multi-Campus initiated programs or projects.
