With over 30 years of graduates represented, the Spring Independent School District Education Foundation recently hosted its Alumni Night celebration at the Randall Reed Center.
The evening was held to honor alumni who have made remarkable contributions in their professional fields, leadership roles, and community efforts. The 14 alumni who were honored this year range from doctors and nurses to business professionals and elected officials.
Foundation Executive Director Sandra Scott said those honored have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a dedication to giving back that has long been a part of the Spring ISD spirit.
“They have excelled in their careers while dedicating their time and resources to charitable causes, mentorship programs, and community development projects,” Scott said. “Many have taken leadership roles in organizations focused on youth empowerment and education.”
The Spring ISD Education Foundation, which is dedicated to the support of the district and its mission of preparing students for success, was established in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. It directly supports districtwide and school-based programs and initiatives aimed at improving literacy, closing the minority achievement gap, enhancing teacher quality and enriching the experience of students and educators.
